For those of you that remotely think that Guidance might start releasing garbage to pay the bills, you are gravely mistaken.  These two releases are perhaps some of Guidance’s best this year.  My main man for 1997, Mark Grant, really shows off his lush jazz influenced keyboard abilities with “Spirit of the Black Ghost.”  Three mixes in all, but I honestly cannot tell you which is the best, because quite frankly, they all kick ass.  All mixes are rich in the traditional kick drum, but his keyboard programming and basslines are positively devastating.   Just listen to the Moog sounds and the jazzy bassline.  Very few can touch this kid.
